The Brief
Jeff approached me for a website after being referred to me by another of my clients. He was looking for an online presence to support his physical shop located in Surrey, British Columbia. It would be a stepping stone website until his team were ready to expand and launch an online store. For now they wanted to collect contact details from site visitors who chose to subscribe to their newsletter and let their customers know that they would soon be able to purchase their favourite goods online too.
My Approach
As a stickler for simple but beautiful websites, I created a website that was clear, fresh and easy to navigate. As Jeff didn’t have a concept for the actual design and layout, I had the joy of coming up with all images, graphics and design myself. I love this level of freedom! I took my styling cues from their logo and created a beautifully consistent athletic look throughout.
I placed an opportunity for website visitors to subscribe on every page to ensure that no opportunity was missed in gathering leads.
The Result
Both myself and the team at 5 Star Nutrition love the cool and consistent vibe of the website. I currently manage their website’s ongoing maintenance and SEO with my post-launch Care Package and I look forward to bringing their online store to fruition in the near future.
