For this classic English country house hotel, we felt it was important to stick to a more traditional design and layout to meet the expectations of guests who prefer a more conventional and conservative hospitality experience. However, this quintessential design is paired beautifully with modern, efficient and simplified functionality to provide a streamlined online guest experience.
As a long- and well established destination for holiday makers, local patrons of the gourmet restaurant and day visitors to the spa, Goetre Hall presents a wealth of offerings and services to their guests. Because of this the website would likely be a complex (on the back-end) and large affair, however it’s important that the site is easily navigable and a joy to use for some of their less tech-savvy guests. Therefore it is essential that any site layout, navigation and route from A (entry to website) to B (making a booking/contacting the team/subscribing to the newsletter) is simple and intuitive.
Our design concept features only a select few pages that would feature within this project to give a taste of how the design, layout and functionality might look and work.
The standard hotel website necessities can be found within the design concept itself, including a contact form, directions, room details, activities and a direct booking option for guests. There is also the option for site visitors to subscribe to Goetre Hall’s newsletters providing the marketing team with the invaluable opportunity to further promote their services, encourage repeat bookings and build brand loyalty over the long-term.
