The design, intention & functionality

Your guests’ first impressions of your brand begin as soon as they start searching for their next holiday. Can they find you easily? Is your website clear, uncluttered, easy to use and navigate? Can they easily find what it is they are looking for? What is the goal of your website? To gain more email subscribers? To secure more direct bookings? To promote a particular offer?

These are all questions we must ask ourselves when planning, designing and developing our online presence.

It’s essential that the moment a visitor arrives onto your website that they immediately get a feel of what they can expect if they choose to stay with you.

If your hotel acts as a wilderness escape for guests, your website needs to make its visitors feel inspired, free and courageous.

If your website is a tranquil haven with an award-winning spa, your website needs to make its visitors feel relaxed, calm and content.

The worst thing a hotel website can be is outdated and stressful to navigate with broken links. This is why we chose a fluid, clean and timeless look to our Luxury Tropical Lodge design concept. We want guests browsing the site to feel content and at ease, as though the website is a break away from their usual browsing, a moment to pause and dream of a possible trip on the horizon.

The entrance video immediately invites the audience in, to experience the atmosphere they can anticipate at the lodge.

With empty white spaces and soothing earthy tones the colours are representative of the experience guests can expect to find at the lodge.

The layout is smooth and effortless, the images captivate and the text engages.

But looks aside, the website also gathers essential information from its visitors, with contact forms, email subscribe options and booking forms throughout the site to enable easy and effective communication with potential guests.

The FAQ section ensures that time spent answering repetitive questions within emails and on the phone are minimised, opening up your team’s time to work on other, more pressing, projects.

This site design provides the opportunity to inform its visitors, meet their expectations of the quality and ambiance they hope to experience during a stay and enables them to learn more through subscribing to a newsletter, contacting the hotel directly or making a booking there and then.
