Now is the time for hoteliers to prepare for this shift in how luxury is perceived in order to meet the consciously adapting needs of guests as they unfold.
This unshakable notion that less is luxury and slower is sustainable is starting to permeate the minds of would-be globetrotters. Their desire to experience the world in a harmonious way that is beneficial to both the traveller and the destination is paving the way for a shift in how we perceive luxury.
